I have been searching for one of these for my darling heavy foot hubby!!  It's not very frugal of us to waste our money on tickets!

There are a few things you should know before getting one for yourself or a loved one. Radars are illegal in some states. Some states have requirements of their own when it comes to Radar Detectors. Here is what I learned as I researched more (I cannot give you a good deal without the important info that goes with it :-)

1. The use of radar detectors are prohibited in the commonwealth of Virginia. They have laws that ban the use of radar detectors. They are illegal to even have in the car. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ONE IF YOU LIVE IN VIRGINIA!!

2.Radar detectors and radar jammers are illegal in Washington DC. They have laws that were put in place since 1995. PLEASE DO NOT BUY A RADAR DETECTOR IF YOU LIVE IN WASHINGTON DC!!

3. They are also illegal on a military bases!

4. If you are a trucker or drive a commercial vehicle...no radar detectors for you!!

5. If you live in Florida and Minnesota...You are allowed to have a radar detector BUT it is illegal to have them mounted on your windsheild!!   

6. If you live in these states you are okay to have a radar detector:

• Florida (not allowed on your windshield!!)
